Barnby Dun & Kirk Sandall Sports Association is a community group and registered charity which was formed to provide high quality sports facilities for young and not so young people in the area. Barnby Dun & Kirk Sandall Sports Association is the umbrella organisation for Barnby Dun Football Club and Barnby Dun Cricket Club. Working in close partnership, these two clubs are committed to a programme of full co-operation in developing the sports facilities at the Glass Park ground on Doncaster Road, Kirk Sandall.

Local community sports facilities are inadequate and of poor quality at the moment, and are insufficient to meet the high level of demand from our young people.

The main aim of the Sports Association is to improve the quality of sports provision in Barnby Dun and Kirk Sandall so that everyone has the opportunity to participate in a range of sporting activities which will promote self confidence and promote a healthy life style.

Our main aims, therefore, are to develop the Glass Park Sports ground by:

- improving and developing the playing facilities

- developing a high quality changing facility

The Glass Park ground on Doncaster Road is ideally placed between the two villages and is the only major sports-related facility in the area. It has tremendous potential for further development because of its position on the edge of the green belt and the high quality of its existing facilities.
